ABSTRACT. Recovery of gold from thiourea solution by techniques such as activated carbon, cementation with lead and aluminum powder, resins, solvents and pressure reduction with hydrogen was investigated. Activated carbon recovers gold with 99% extraction but high loadings of thiourea occur.
